PATHS OF INCARNATION THROUGH LATIN AMERICA

SHARE:

In this time, as we continue to travel the itinerary of the 2023–2027 orientations and celebrate the 20-year jubilee of the Family of the Incarnation, our communities have wanted to return to the essentials: to live and share the charism of the Incarnation in daily life. We have been building this path little by little between our communities in Chile and Bolivia, sharing the life, faith and richness of our cultures. More than large structures or large projects, what has been growing are spaces of closeness and encounter to pray, reflect and accompany each other, welcoming the reality that challenges us. For this we have relied on a Notebook, which has served as an instrument of study to deepen our spirituality.

In this simple sharing, the charism becomes alive and generates true communities of fraternity.

One of the most concrete ways in which this is experienced are the systematic meetings that take place in different locations. In places like Quellón, Ancud, Mulchén, Freirina, Santiago and also in Cochabamba, Bolivia, friends of the charism and communities meet periodically to share the faith, deepen the spirituality of the Incarnation and share life, where we reflect on the social realities that press us.

In Ancud, in addition, something very significant has been happening: groups of students from the El Pilar Foundation have begun to integrate into these spaces, participating in greater depth in the meetings and approaching the charism from their own youth experience. For many of them, these moments become a place of listening, friendship and discovery of a faith that is lived in community. In the same way, it happens with the Children's Movement "Friends of the Word", the well-known "Verbitos", who sow this spirit in the little ones.

Within this process, the National Meeting of May 25, 2025 was a special moment of meeting and celebration. Representatives of various communities met there to share life, recognize the path traveled and renew the commitment to continue building communities where fraternity is the center.

To this path is also added the work of the International Commission on Integral Ecology, who promote meetings and actions that help us to respond in a concrete way to the care of our common home.

Thus, between encounters, formation, prayer and gestures of service, the communities of Chile and Bolivia continue to give life to the charism of the Incarnation, gradually building communities where fraternity, shared mission and care for creation become a natural part of our journey.

From Chile and Bolivia, greetings of peace and union.
