The congregation of the Ursuline Sisters of Jesus is in thanksgiving, Sister Antonine said YES to the Lord on Saturday, August 29. On Thursday, her parents, her paternal grandfather and maternal grandmother, her siblings arrived from Soavinandriana, as well as the sisters representing the various communities of Missionary Reality.
It was a time of joy and gladness for the Church and for the entire congregation. Raharinirina Nambinintsoa Marie Antonine made her first vows within the community of the Ursulines of Jesus, at the novitiate of Nazareth in Tetezambato Ambatolahimavo, Fianarantsoa. The celebration was presided over by Father Abel, a Jesuit who had preached the retreat to novices in June. He was surrounded by Father Denis, moderator of the district, Father Parfait, chaplain of the neighboring Cistercian sisters of the community, and Father Jériko, uncle of Antonine, a Jesuit who was ordained a priest in Miarinarivo three weeks earlier. Traditionally in the diocese of Fianarantsoa, a delegation from the internoviciate participates in the celebrations of vows. Thus some novices and novitiate leaders representing 16 congregations actively participated in the animation of the songs of the Mass, the danced thanksgiving, the service at the festive table and... the dishes. The Christian community of the district was represented by three members of the pastoral council.

During the ceremony, Antonine expressed her commitment to faithfully live her vocation, supported by her family, the religious congregation and the people of God present. The celebration took place under the motto: "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall lack nothing" (Psalm 23: 1), reflecting his absolute trust in God and in his conduct on the path of consecrated life. At the end of the celebration, she was sent to the community of Analaïva, in the diocese of Morondava to participate in its mission of education.
From Monday 31 August, she left Fianarantsoa to go to her place of mission with Sister Marie-Georgine.

Have a good trip to Antonine with Jesus as shepherd!
